Several days are filmed during the weeks of "Group Inquiry" laboratories
in the Introductory Cell and Molecular Biology course Lyman Briggs School (LBS-145)

the students in one research team that will be the focus of the movie: Jim Howard,
Will Hughes, Sarah Carter and Chas Jensen are doing research on beer.
Will Hughes and Chas Jensen talk about their research group and the class in general.
Scenes from "The Class Play" are shown with students
acting out the light reactions of photosynthesis.
Chas tries to explain how they are studying beer.
